2018年1月24日，SASO颁布了一项IECEE相关的技术规定，SASO标准局以及沙特海关已宣布从2018年2月15日起实施SASO’s IECEE Recognition Certificate (SIRC)“IECEE(SIRC)”证书，该条例规定，下述产品的制造商应向SASO标准局申请获得SASO的IECEE认证证书(SIRC)。目前以下三类产品将实行SIRC要求：
Mobile Phones.（手机）
Mobile Phones Chargers.（手机充电器）
Mobile Phones Electrical Accessories (Headset, Cables, Watches, etc) excluding Mobile Batteries.（手机配件，耳机，智能手表等）不包括移动电源。
- Car Batteries (汽车电池)
- Mobile Phone Batteries (手机电池)
- Water Pumps (水泵)
- Dishwashers (洗碗机)
- TV Sets (电视机)
- Chargers for Mobile Phones and Parts (手机充电器及其配件)
- Lighting (灯)
- Electric Motors (电机)
- Computers and Laptops (台式电脑和笔记本电脑)
根据沙特阿拉伯标准组织（Saudi Arabian Standards Organization，简称“SASO”）最新消息，自2021年7月1日起，SASO将扩大IECEE认证的管控范围，增加以下六类产品。为保证顺利清关，在管控清单中的产品需要申请并获得SASO IECEE National Conformity Certificate (CoPC)证书。

2021年8月6日，沙特标准局SASO发布官方公告，从2021年11月1日起，将四类产品断路器、手机充电线、剃须刀以及台式电脑纳入强制性IECEE认可认证，SASO IECEE RC (SIRC) 认证范围再次扩大。

测试及样品要求：基于CB,（3年内有效，含沙特偏差：220V,60Hz，英规插头）
费用及有效期：IECEE证书有效期1年
注册需提供以下材料:
1.申请表
2.Certification Body Test Certificate (CBTC).CB证书
3.Certification Body Test Report (CBTR).CB报告
4.National Difference Test Report.国家差异检验报告。
5.Photos of the product.产品照片
6.Product dimension.产品尺寸图
7.Provide a sample (in case it was required by SASO).样品
8.Manufacturer Self Declaration.制造商自我声明
9.Industrial License certificate (Manufacturer).营业执照
10.Commercial Registration certificate (CR)(Importer).进口商注册证
11.Descriptive documents. 说明书
